Fun times in the USA
Yesterday we visited the Los Angeles. We started the day with breakfast at the local Denny’s. Here you get a great breakfast for just $5 each. So every morning we try to find a Denny’s 😀
We started at Hollywood where we walked the famous Walk of Fame. When I asked a guy for directions he told me about a bus tour through Hollywood, Beverly Hills and all the celebrity mansions. I’m usually not fond of bus tours but we thought this one would be nice. And it was!!
We cruised through Beverly Hills, made a picture of the Hollywood sign and I learned that if you’re chosen to get a star on the walk of fame you need to pay that yourself, which is $25.000. I guess that’s the price you pay for fame.
After Hollywood we went to Little Tokyo and we ended the day in Venice Beach. At Venice Beach there was a skatepark where we saw two 8 year old boys doing amazing tricks.
Today we started our tour along the Pacific Coast. Our first stop was at Santa Monica where we stopped at the Pier where I saw a Bubba Gump shrimp and a guy suddenly put a parrot on my shoulder. Along the route we stopped at a few nice scenic places that had great views of the Ocean.
