Huacachina is an oasis in the middle of the desert. Also a true backpackers town, as I suddenly was surrounded by many fellow travellers.
The must-do in Huacachina is the buggy and sandboarding tour. The buggy drove us through the desert like a wild roller coaster ride. From the top of the sand hills we glided fast and face-first downhill. That whole experience was a major thrill.

At the end we enjoyed a perfect sunset with the sand dunes as a backdrop. Just after sunset, the buggy returned to the top of the hill of Huacachina for another pretty view of the town.
