What was yesterday already seems like a quite some time ago. I was hugged goodbye at Amsterdam Airport by my boyfriend, dad, sister and my best friend. After I went through customs I did one last wave and it was off towards the gate.
Had a first relaxing flight with a 3 hour stopover at Helsinki. I settled down at a table with free wifi and juices for my electronic devices. So before I knew it I had to run for my second flight.
Since I hate long flights, the second one was pretty exhausting, but heyy, at 9 am local time I did arrive. When I claimed my bag I saw a guy sitting next to me with a backpack and asked if he also travelled alone. Since we both had to go to Khao San Rd we might as well travel together. At the train station another girl also joined us. Taking the train to the last stop we shared a Tuk-tuk (yayy, already saving money). From Khao San Rd we split up, each heading in our own direction.
Just checked into my room. Now it’s time to refresh and get some needed rest. After that I can really explore the city.
