Join the national water fight
Going to Siam Square today I landed in the middle of the protest in Bangkok. Just before I left home I was a bit worried that these protests would influence my stay, but so far it seems to be peaceful.
I enjoyed walking through the huge crowd. The main road was completely sealed off from traffic and now filled with stands selling food and protest related merchandise. In the center there were speakers and every now and then I heard everyone cheer and blow their whistles.
Now I have to come back when this is over to see how it usually is here.
