Done with shopping, skyscrapers and city life? Sentosa Island is Singapore’s answer for the ultimate getaway from the city to bring out your inner child. A monorail connects to the island and once you get off it feels like a giant amusement park. All knit together is a Universal Studios, zip-lining adventure park, cable car, Water Park and so much more. But all of these didn’t catch my interest as much as the following.
iFly Singapore
When stumbling upon the iFly skydiving centre my first thought was; why not? I always wanted to (indoor) skydive and what is a better place than the largest wind tunnel in the world? Luckily it was off-peak season and got an instruction and 2 skydives for just 79S$ (€45). The instruction consisted of a video and a short briefing about correct posture and some gestures. After that you suit up and enjoy the free fall.
Skyline Luge
When reading about the Skyline Luge, I got exited instantly; going downhill on a kart, hell yeah! You can decide your own pace depending on how much you push the brake. 3 Rides on the Luge will set you back 29S$ (€14) and joyful memories. Unfortunately if you like some adrenaline rush like me, the rides are over rather quickly.
