In the weekend of 29-31 August 2014 I drove my car to the picturesque Veldhoven where I visited one of the largest anime conventions in the Netherlands; Abunai. It’s been over 1,5 year since my last visit to an anime convention and I’m glad I did. The best thing about these conventions is seeing familiar faces and also making new friends at the same time. I also love that the photographer community has grown.
Since I have stopped cosplaying myself; I figured out I rather spend my effort and money in traveling and other things I love. I do now find my time and energy to bring along my camera and to take photos of other cosplayers, especially my best friend Lou.
It’s always loads of fun having a cosplay photoshoot and I do love it when I get results I’m proud of. My primary focus still is portrait and (city)landscape but this is an angle that just keep coming on my path.
