Cruising Highway 1 from South to North is awesome! Great views over the Pacific Ocean and ‘the Big Sur’ is beautiful.
The day started out a bit foggy, therefore we couldn’t see much of the Ocean. But I still would recommend this route to anyone. We made a stop at the Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park where we did an hour hike towards the falls. After that we stopped at Monterey for the 17 mile drive; a road through the peninsula of Monterey with lovely mansions everywhere. They even had their own country club and golf course. This sure would be a place I would want to live if I had a few million to spare.
In the evening we arrived in San Francisco. Just enjoyed a fanatastic meal and tomorrow we’re going to explore the city.
