Our trip to Milan coincident with the Milan Fashion Week. Since Milan is already known as the shopping Walhalla of the world, we also browsed the streets as true fashionista’s!
Well, not really… Me with my travelers’ skirt and worn out sneakers felt way to underdressed among all these high heels, perfect hair models. But that sure didn’t stop me from having a good time.
If you’re looking for a typical sightseeing city trip, just skip Milan altogether. Besides the Duomo (the gigantic church in the center) all you really can do here is (window) shopping. With plenty of designer stores like Luis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and what more, you can lose your monthly income in less than a minute.
Luckily for us common folk, there’s also a street with regular wear such as H&M and equivalent Italian brands. Although I never really buy anything during my travels, spending a full day in stores I also couldn’t resist temptation and bought a nice dark green sweater, preparing for winter to come.
