No, I’m not sick. I’m just preparing my med-kit.
Apparently I need a whole bunch of pills and tubes when I want to travel. What have I gotten myself into? I guess you can better be prepared for the worst.
So, what’s in the med-kit you say?
- A huge load of malaria pills. I’m actually proud of this one. I got it second hand from another traveler who had these left over. So I’ve saved quite some cash on these.
- DEET. I’ve got to keep those nasty bugs away
- Loperamide. Sooner or later I’ll eat something funky that my stomach won’t like. That’s where these will come in handy.
- Paracetamol. Although I don’t even use these at home. But when I lost all my comfort and maybe all my senses, this might help.
- The pill. Uhh yeah, no explanation needed.
- Plasters. Both regular ones and for blasters, for when my feet just can’t take it anymore.
- Last but not least; tissues. Useful for any situation.
