Turquoise lakes in the Canadian Rockies
The last stop of our trip is Kelowna, before heading back to Vancouver.
Vineyards
On arrival we immediately drove through the different vineyards of the area. There are more than 40 wineries, we just stopped at only one of them for a tasting. A tasting was just $7 for 5 different wines or ciders. At the end we even bought a bottle of white wine to drink later in the hotel.
Myra Canyon
The next day I booked two rental bikes to cycle the trenches and tunnels of Myra Canyon. We started at 9 in the morning, before the crowds and before the afternoon heat. It was great to be able to get some nice photo moments before other cyclists came to join us. We were even lucky enough to see a black bear right in front of us on the trail!
