Cruising with the Easy Riders
Ever since I arrived in Vietnam I’ve met countless of friendly locals. Every day I could share a heart warming story about the kindness I received.
Today Hoa introduced me to her friend Thrang who also was eager to improve her English. In the morning we relaxed and chatted in a cute garden inside the city. Afterwards they invited me back to their home to have lunch.
With 6 girls in total sitting on a bed we shared a delicious home cooked meal. Talking about girly stuff such as lovers, family and music. They wanted to hear a Dutch song and I played “Guus Meeuwis – Het is een nacht” on my iPhone. Also showing pictures of my friends, family and travels.
Encounters like these make me realize how privileged I am living in the Netherlands and being able to travel the world.
