Let’s reflect on the positive sides of 2020. It was a year that travel was nearly impossible, events were cancelled and a huge economic impact on my personal situation was taken.
It was also a year where I found renewed energy and motivation into my photography passion. The past years I focused mainly on travel photography, but I also have a deep love for doing portraits and sceneries (either landscape or cityscapes).
This year I invested in a new camera; the fullframe mirrorless Sony A7III, which replaced my 10 year old Canon 5DII. Around the same time, my good friend Jay caught the photography bug and I advised him to get the same camera. I’ve taken a lot of pleasure in helping others how to start in this field, explaining the exposure triangle and giving feedback on photographs and settings.
But I also took the time to do a lot of photoshoots myself. And happy to share some of the highlights.
Next to my travel blog, I created my photography portfolio at estherruiterman.nl
