Lake Como is one of the three major lakes in the North of Italy. It is only a half hour drive North of Milan and set in the midst of the mountains. We stayed in Laglio on the West side of Lake Como, the same town where George Clooney has his summer villa.
The nicest and most famous town of Lake Como is Bellagio. No! Not the casino in Las Vegas, but the actual town in Italy. It is situated in the center of the lake and has a very laid back atmosphere.

We drove through various towns to finally reach Bellagio. On this sunny day we were lucky to get some beautiful pictures of the water and its surroundings.
Back in Laglio we also took the opportunity to actually see George Clooney’s villa. Unfortunately he didn’t open his gate for a nice cappuccino.
